November 5th, 2015: cloudBuy, the global provider of cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces and B2B buyer and supplier solutions, today announced that it has signed up to the techUK Health and Social Care Interoperability Charter.

The Charter, which is also supported by NHS England, details the changes to system interoperability standards that are needed to deliver radical service transformation. Signatories to the Interoperability Charter are committed to ensuring that their IT systems can work better together to become the enablers of change needed to support the move to integrated care.

Lyn Duncan, cloudBuy CEO, said, “cloudBuy’s solutions are being used in the Health and Social Care sector to provide innovative ways to deliver integrated care. The sector is facing unprecedented demands and pressures. Applying IT solutions in new ways and ensuring that barriers to the integration of systems are removed, will help deliver the new models of integrated care set out in NHS England’s CEO, Simon Stevens' Five Year Forward View. cloudBuy is committed to support techUK’s important Interoperability Charter initiative.”

60 companies that are leading the revolution in how health and care is delivered, have signed up to the Charter to date. techUK’s Charter is now featured in NHS England’s Interoperability Handbook, which was recently published.
